Friendly`s in Agawam

I love the ice cream.

Took over 45 minutes to get two ice creams. They had to redo my husband's ice cream twice because it was wrong. Ended up being wrong the third time but at that point just wanted to get out of there. If I could I'd give it no stars because the service is that terrible.

Agawams friendlies is very slow. And never get the icecream rite. Ask for no nuts i get extra ask for extra carmel get none real cant under stand it. Its writen on paper. Oh well hello jj's!!!!!!!

This place always delivers. They have excellent dishes for convenient rates, there is no waiting time even when they are busy.

They do not serve breakfast all day like most restaurants do today. Short on help. Orders take too long to make it to the table. The menu is good and the food is good. Very clean, family friendly. You can buy their ice cream and desserts in the store. Not a bad place at all just a little slower.

Everybody working there looks like the want to quit but they are stuck in some type of forced labor camp. Food is meh, if it arrives in a timely manner, so never. Ice cream is over priced, there are some local joints that offer much better ice cream specialties.

Friendly's is a great place to gather with friends good food awesome atmosphere in the people that work there are a great also I would recommend there the friendly's in agawam Mass I give it five stars 🤗

Bad day for a new waitress on a Holiday... very poor service, although the waitress who covered did the best she could. Sandwich was missing the avacado and that was the featured part of the sandwich.

A worker rudely screamed at me and my friends. We went in to use the bath room and she immediately assumed we were only going in for that. We tried explaining to her that we were going to use the bathroom then eat some food which she didn’t understand. Then, a table broke with customers on it and they were not concerned and rolled their eyes at them. i will NEVER go back to this place again!! rude customer service.

There's a good variety to their menu. Service is slow though.

We stopped in to get some ice cream and try this place out. Got a cone and Sunday 👍They will charge you for the video games if you play them.

Great experience dining. Even though it was busy food was quick, hot and the order was perfect. The manager was friendly and talked with us for a while. Perfect place for an inexpensive family night out.

First thing as soon as I'm walking into the door, me and my friends were called a "herd of cows". One of the staff members yelled at a group of boys for using the bathroom and screamed at a group of girls multiple times. Me and my friends had a very polite server named Pam, but unfortunately they forgot about our order. When one of my friends said "I wonder where our food is..." the same rude woman screamed "Oh right!" and rushed into the kitchen. Food was good, nothing special.

Only 1 cook after 9 so the food took forever. Service was great tho.

My family and I enjoy going to friendly's. Two of my children use to work there and enjoy going back to see the crew and enjoy a good meal.

Service was incredibly slow. Food is mediocre at best. Small wonder there closing these places as fast as they can.

I find Friendlys is looking the personal touch. The new way of serving of the utensils in a bag, coffee is much to strong, pay on the kiosk. The stand in front were the mark which waiter is next is in much need of being painted, peeling paint. Need to bring more healthy foods.

I always like Friendly's. A nice place to eat and visit with friends.

I really would prefer not to give even 1 star, but you have to in order to post a review. I have been having increasingly terrible experiences at Friendly's. Tonight specifically, was in Agawam. We waited WAY TOO long for our food, which came out so DRY as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. Disgusting. Our daughter's cheeseburgers looked like rocks. The buns were CRUNCHY. I asked for ice water, which I had to remind the waitress for about 15/20 minutes later. My husband asked for a refill on his coke, which he never received. We got so sick of waiting for a box to take our leftovers, that we went and asked for them ourselves. Paid on the table kiosk, and the waitress never even came back to ask what our daughter wanted for her free ice cream. Overall, TERRIBLE, DISGUSTING experience and we've officially decided to NEVER go back to a Friendly's again. Which is a shame, because it used to be one of our family favorites. Bravo Friendly's, way to ruin your reputation.

It is a great place to eat especially when you get a great waitress. Nice and clean but prices are getting higher sand higher.

The establishment here wants to imply that they are impeccable at what they do but unfortunately this is not the case. I've given a time and time again approach for them to redeem themselves but their is no sense of urgency in its workers or management, the cleanliness suffers, and overall the lack of care is well noticed. Almost 40 minutes for 2 ice cream orders and when had gone to eat it? It contained an aluminum object that I had nearly swallowed. Your food chain is suffering enough as is, your store just ensured to bring it down further than it is now. And that is sad to say from someone who actually worked as a fountaineer for Friendlys about 10 years ago... so sad.

Great atmosphere and reasonable food. The waitstaff that we had was phenomenal. Clean restrooms and restaurant. Friday and Saturday they are open till 11pm.

Got to Friendlys at 11:03 PM. Doors were open and people were still being served inside the store. Refused to even take an icecream order to go for my two little girls!

Ordered through DoorDash. There was no option for sides and when I called the Agawam friendlys seconds after placing my order just to ask for a side of ranch they rudely told me the meal was already finished & they couldnt make changes. Very unprofessional! And when our food came it was completely wrong and messed up

Service downhill, wanting to pay the bill and the waitress isn't even in the building. Never got my refill of soda. Food not fresh, burger tasted like it was made 3 hours ago. Lower prices means value? No means smaller portions, even my 12 year old daughter noticed.Use to love this place now I have to leave it. Not what it use to be. Making the trip to Denny's, not close but better food and service.

That old world soda fountain look they do just makes it feel so nice in there. Lots of nostalgia and good childhood memories. Great place to bring the kids for their first restaurant. Waitresses and patrons are super used to noisy kids. Ice cream is the bomb!!

I'm so happy this friendly is still in business. I still go here regularly, love the food and the prices. Love the ice cream too, you can even buy it in containers in your way out.

We visit Friendly's in Agawam frequently. We usually order takeout, but periodically eat there. It is really hit or miss as far as the friendliness of the staff. The waitress we had this week was terrific, but the person who helped us at the take out window last week was unfriendly. The manager (I think he's the manager) James is wonderful. He always looks tired and over worked, but he is always friendly and helpful. They need more employees like him!

Food was fine. Fries were salty. Everything else was as expected. It's a Friendly's, so it's good for a quick bite, and I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary.

Waited about 15 minutes at the take out counter for them to finally take our order. Took another 25 - 30 minutes for them to make 3 simple sundaes. Sooooo slow. No wonder why they are going out of business. Wont come back here that's for sure.

I suffered a physical affliction upon my tongue due to how hard and crispy my food was. As well as receiving a sad excuse of a large sundae that was drowned by whipped cream. The service was okay though.

The staff does the best they can. But you can sense the fact that all of these storied "Friendly" restaurants will soon be gone. The problem? They long ago forgot to be "Friendly!"

Not what I remember from my childhood but still a great spot

Not surprised they're going out of business given their practice. Had a terrible experience with the West Springfield location and never went back. Have been to agawam several times for takeout since then. The good experiences outweigh the bad in quantity, but the bad has been really bad. Burgers are almost always a safe bet, but I'll never order a salad again. Any business that stops answering their phone 15 minutes before close probably needs a corporate lesson in customer service. Staff have always been pleasant.
